Main Responsibility

Responsible for party-related affairs

(1)Ideological and theoretical education and value guidance. Guided students to thoroughly study the spirit of 

General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches and new concepts, new ideas and new strategies 

for country governance, conducted in-depth implementation of in-depth publicity and education on socialism 

with Chinese characteristics, the Chinese dream, and education on socialist core values, helped students 

continue to strengthen their self-confidence in the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, theoretical 

self-confidence, institutional self-confidence, cultural self-confidence, and staunchly established a correct 

world outlook, outlook on life, and values. Grasped characteristics of students’ thoughts and behaviors and 

ideological and political conditions, and helped students deal with specific problems covering ideological 

understanding, value orientation, study and life, career selection and friendship in a pertinent manner.

(2) Party group and class building. Engaged in selection, training, and inspiration of the backbone students, 

and guided organization of student groups and class construction.

(3) Academic atmosphere building Learned basic situation of students' majors, propelled students' interest in 

learning, guided students to develop good study habits, and mastered correct study methods. Guided students 

to carry out extracurricular scientific and technological academic practice activities, and create a strong 

learning atmosphere.

(4) Management of daily affairs of students. Carried out enrollment education, graduate education and related 

management and service work. Organized military training for students. Organized selection of various 

scholarships and grants. Guided students to apply for student loans. Organized students to engage in work-

study activities and perform assistance to students in difficulties. Provided life guidance for students, 

promoted students to live in harmony and help each other.

(5) Mental health education and counseling. Helped school mental health education institutions carry out 

mental health education, conducted preliminary investigation and guidance on students' psychological 

problems, organized and launched mental health knowledge popularization and publicity activities, and 

cultivated students' rational, peaceful, optimistic and healthy attitude.

(6) Internet ideological and political education. Used new media and new technologies to promote high 

integration of traditional advantages of ideological and political work with information technology. 

Constructed an important position for online ideological and political education, and actively promoted 

advanced culture. Strengthened education on students' online literacy education, actively cultivate good 

netizens on campus, guided students to create online cultural works, carried forward the main theme, and 

circulated positive energy. Innovated work paths, strengthened online interaction with students, and deployed 

new online media to provide students with thought leadership, study guidance, life counseling, psychological 

counseling and such.

(7) Address campus crisis events. Organized basic safety education. Participated in the formulation and 

implementation of work plans for crisis events in schools and colleges (departments). Conducted preliminary 

handling of campus crisis events, stabilized the situation and control the development of the situation, grasped 

information on crisis events in a timely manner and reported them according to procedures. Participated in 

post-crisis response and summary research analysis.

(8) Career planning and employment and entrepreneurship guidance. Offered students scientific career 

planning, employment guidance and related services, helped students establish a correct concept of 

employment, and guided students to go to the grassroots, the west, and the places where the our country needs

them most to contribute themselves.

(9) Theoretical and practical research. Attempted to learn the basic theory of ideological and political 

education and related subject knowledge, participated in academic exchange activities in related subject areas, 

and participated in the research of ideological and political education topics or projects inside and outside the 

school.

Self-Introduction 

Received master’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Won the title of Beijing Advanced 

Individual for Employment and the title of Star Counselor of Communication University of China.
